Practicing Wesleyan-Holiness Spiritual Formation
In the Church of the Nazarene, we believe all Christians should consider themselves ministers of Christ and seek to know the will of God concerning their appropriate avenues of service. Any Church of the Nazarene member who feels called by God to fulfill a specialized ministry as a layperson but does not necessarily profess a call to preach or to full-time ministry may receive a Certificate of Lay Ministry from the local church board. This certificate helps validate the participating layperson’s commitment to a body of believers. Once you have completed the requirements for this study, be sure to e-mail us at DiscipleshipPlace@nazarene.org or call 888-243-2767 to receive a certificate of completion. These courses are intended for laity and have not been validated for ministerial preparation in the Church of the Nazarene. Therefore, they do not meet the educational requirements for those pursuing ordination. Here are the Principal Contributors.
